Margarete Huber il vento / schwärmen (Neue Musik)

Margarete Hubers composition"il vento / schwärmen" (= the wind/ to swarm") is a very personal tribute to the time, that the composer spended together with a swarm of people, living four years together, in a house on a mountain, and the swarming about this time. A poetic music, ranging from the most delicate and tender moments to storms . Natural and urban sounds are combined with crazy circuit bending synthesizer sounds and human breathing. A speaking voice tells in multiple affects subtle different words for "wind" or "breathing", like "vento, aria, folata, brezza, briciolo, fiato, tempesta, burasca:,..." (= "wind, air, gust, breeze, shred, breath, tempest, storm",...). Sometimes the wind seems to bring a glimmer of baroque affects and music around, a soprano sings"Pensieri"...(= thinkings), and an improvising baroque organ opens the room to a big ecstatically space. While one of the ex-housemates is telling a raving story of an nocturnal adventure.. (the first performance was at Festival "Diagonale")
