Jazz Guitar Hugo Fernandez "New Grounds Quartet" Berlin

Hugo Fernández Guitarist and composer from Mexico City presents "New Grounds Quartet" Berlin. This ensemble is the meeting of talented musicians around a new vision of contemporary jazz. The quartet's sound is inspired by the rich heritage of jazz and subtly blends with diverse musical styles such as: rock and Latin American folklore among others.


With three albums under their belt, they have participated in numerous festivals and jazz clubs. His album "Cosmogram" with the collaboration of the successful drummer Antonio Sánchez was selected by Downbeat magazine as one of the best albums. He has a degree in professional music from Berklee College of Music. U.S.A. and has a master's degree in Jazz Studies from the University of New Orleans. U.S.A.
