We warmly invite you to join us for a discussion about politically sensitive translation with Dr. Michaela Dudley and Mirjam Nuenning!

macht.sprache. is developing an app to foster politically sensitive translation between German and English. A year-long collaborative process will lead to the final translation tool. On machtsprache.de, everyone who is interested can participate in collecting politically sensitive terms, as well as enter and discuss translation examples from books, films, newspapers, etc. In addition, we are organising events with experts. The knowledge gathred will ultimately flow into the production of the app towards the end of the year. We look forward to the exchange!
